BIO
The Stained Glass Saints
have a distinct sound comprised of a modern day acoustic feel that vocally resonates somewhere reminiscent of 1944. Straight out of Southern California, The Saints delve deep below the surface un-inventing the Rock-&-Roll while preserving the finest of our punk roots.
The group has just released their first self-titled 8-song ep and has plans to finish up a full 14 song recording sometime in 2008. The Stained Glass Saints are mostly known for setting a mellow vibe and yet still peak the interest of those hardcore punk fans by slipping in those unsuspecting punk covers performed in their very own patented acoustic lounge style. So whether you are 62 or 22, either way you may find yourself down for chilling out to an earful of an acoustic lounge styled Nofx, Pennywise, or Face to Face song. As clever as the covers you do not want to rule out the original songwriting of this trio. Songs like “Satellite” and “Wayan and Friends” give off a catchy steady acoustic vibe with lyrics that keep the mind turning long after the songs are over.
Check out their acoustic lounge style version of "Disconnected" originally performed by punk rock legends FACE TO FACE.
